24 HOURS before the Russian purchased the club Sven-Goran Eriksson reveals he told Roman Abramovich to buy Chelsea and NOT Tottenham. ‘I had to park the car four streets away so the people I was going to meet didn’t see my car. ‘I remember driving to meetings in London in my clapped out Corsa while having to hold the door closed with a piece of string because it got broken into a few days earlier,’ Wood told Sportsmail.
